Yoko Takirai and Pietro Pellitteri join Hannah Gallery as represented artists in 2025. We are honoured to mark this new collaboration with Nivuru, an exhibition that brings together six impeccably crafted brooches in which minimalist form meets the dense, magnetic presence of black.

 

The name NIVURU – black in Sicilian dialect – comes from the first brooch created for the exhibition A Tale of Multiple Worlds. From that piece, a collection gradually unfolded, giuded by the artists’ long-standing fascination with the many shades and meaning of black.
